The Role

The successful candidates will be involved in, amongst others:

  • Developing new user-facing features.
  • Building easily maintained, understandable and well-structured code.
  • Building reusable code and libraries for future use.
  • Optimising code for performance, ensuring fast loading times and smooth user experience.
  • Ensuring the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
  • Building applications that adapt and work well across different devices and screen sizes.
  • Ensuring that the applications work consistently across different web browsers and devices.
  • Testing and debugging code to address any compatibility issues that may arise.
  • Optimising application for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Assuring that all user input is validated before submitting to back-end.
  • Providing pre-built components and efficient ways to manage the state of an application.
  • Creating a positive user experience by ensuring intuitive and user-friendly interfaces by considering factors such as accessibility and interactivity to enhance user experience.
  • Collaborating with other Tech Team members and stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate and/or Postgraduate degrees in Computer Science, Web Development, Software Engineering or related disciplines.
  • Three (3) years of related work experience in the banking / corporate and / or payment processing industry will be considered an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of .Net Blazor and/or other .Net Technologies will be considered an advantage.
  • Certifications in Front-End development, Web Design, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and related technologies will be considered an advantage.
  • Strong engineering and coding skills.
  • Strong knowledge of browser developer tools.
  • Familiarity with git (or similar version control tool).
  • Eagerness to continuously learn new skills and techniques to improve craft and deliver cutting-edge solutions.
  • Embracing challenges and innovation.
  • Growth mindset, being willing to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Team-player with analytical mindset and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work well under pressure.
  • Strong report writing analytical skills.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Excellent command of the English and Greek Languages, both verbal and written.
